English teachers in the family

An English teacher, living in your family, is essential for those who in the next year or two intend to sit tough entrance exams to one of Great Britain's elite schools. The teacher can live either in your home or in a separate apartment nearby. The teacher will be charged with tutoring English language and literature, mathematics, history, geography and French, Spanish or Latin. All these subjects are part of the Common Entrance exam which must be sat at the age of 13.

The teacher will also open up to your child the world in which his English peers live: books, hobbies, sport, music, computer games, films etc. Having undergone such preparation, a Russian pupil will find it much easier to fit in with his English contemporaries, will quickly find topics for discussion and friendship and will feel confident in any situation.
